Our team at Pup Paradise is excited to invite you to our 5200 sq foot canine service facility located in Winnipeg North. In addition to providing quality, affordable grooming services to our customers we are pleased to offer services for doggy daycare and overnight boarding as well.
We are a close-knit group, many of us have dogs of our own so we can understand the importance of finding someone trustworthy to take care of your dog, which is why your dog's safety and comfort is our #1 concern. We will do all we can to help your pup have a positive experience. Whether it's maintaining a healthy coat, making friends at daycare, or spending the night in a cozy environment, it truly is a Pup Paradise.

Our Services
Whether it's a de-shed or a quick tidy we have a variety of different services for you to choose for your pup. Appointments are required (except for walk-in services) as we cannot always guarantee that we have the time or space available.
*Our prices are based on your dog's weight and are subject to change based on style, coat condition, and temperament. Please look below for sizes and examples.*
Tiny (0-9 lbs.) - Example: Chihuahua or Teacup Poodle
Small (10-25 lbs.) - Example: Shih Tzu or Bichon Frise
Medium (26-45 lbs.) - Example: Cocker Spaniel or Corgi
Large (46-75 lbs.) - Example: Golden Retriever or Labrador Retriever
Extra Large (76-100 lbs.) - Example: German Shepard
Giant (101+ lbs.) - Example: St. Bernard or Great Pyrenees
Standard Groom
Includes:
● Clipping (blade lengths range from 1/8" to 1")
● Wash using Nature's Specialties products
● Fluff dry
● Brush out and comb through (if applicable); extra charges for dematting/detangling
● Trimming (cleans up the remaining hair for a smooth finish)
● Sanitary trim
● Pad shave
● Ear cleaning
● Ear plucking (if applicable)
● Nail trim *add a nail file for an additional $10.00*
● Perfume (soothing spray for sensitive or itchy skin)
Prices will vary depending on additional scissoring/styling, coat condition, and temperament

Dematt fee - $1.00/minute (maximum 20 minutes, otherwise we will have to clip your dog as short as necessary to remove the matted fur)
De-shed
Includes:
● Wash using Nature's Specialties products
● Fluff dry
● 30-minute de-shed (using tools best suited for the dog's coat)
● Comb through (if applicable) *dematt fee - $1.00/minute*
● Tidy up with scissors and/or clipper comb attachments (if applicable)
● Sanitary trim (if applicable)
● Pad shave (if applicable)
● Ear cleaning
● Ear plucking (if applicable)
● Nail trim *add a nail file for an additional $10.00*
● Perfume (soothing spray for sensitive or itchy skin)
We don't recommend brushing or de-shedding a dog longer than 30 minutes as their skin is sensitive and can become irritated. If you want to keep up with your dog's shedding in-between grooms, we recommend a 30-minute de-shed for $30 plus tax (no bath; nail trim included).

Puppies
We recommend getting your puppy used to the grooming procedure as soon as possible; after they have had their second round of shots. Bring your puppy to Pup Paradise for their first grooming appointment and we will do our famous Puppy Practice free of charge!!

*The Puppy Practice is available for tiny-medium breed puppies up to 4 months of age and large-giant puppies up to 6 months of age.*
If customers wish to give their puppy a haircut or a de-shed for their first grooming appointment, we will take 50% off of the price. It is very important to all of us at Pup Paradise to make sure that every dog has as pleasant an experience as possible. Puppies will need time to get used to the sounds, handling, and equipment that we use. We will clip a puppies' fur as long as they are comfortable with it, if not, then we will switch to Puppy Practice and recommend you bring your puppy back within 2 weeks to try again.
*The puppy promotions are available for your puppies first ever groom. If your puppy has been groomed before you are still eligible for our First-Timer promotion!*

Daycare
Prices:
Quick play (3 hours) - $10 (tax included)
Half day (5 hours) - $15 (tax included)
Full day (9 hours) - $25 (tax included)
● We offer a 90-minute meet n' greet to see if your pup is suited to daycare. There is no charge for the consultation.
● Vaccinations for parvovirus, rabies, distemper, and bordetella (kennel cough) are required.
*PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG IN IF THEY ARE EXPERIENCING SYMPTOMS OF KENNEL COUGH.*
● We prefer dogs that are spayed/neutered as dogs who are still intact tend to be more aggressive and we have had issues with dogs "marking their territory". Please do not bring your female dog in if she is in heat!
● We will ask owners to provide wraps (diapers) for their dog if they continually "mark". Wraps are better than diapers because they don't cover the dogs butt.
● Please bring your dog in on a leash and use easy-to-unclasp collars (dogs can get caught in harnesses and prong collars).
● Our dogs are under constant supervision to ensure they are getting proper care and attention.
● It is important to our safety and the safety of all of our dogs that we be on the lookout for any behavior that may result in an altercation or injury. We have and use kennels if dogs need a break/cool down.
Boarding
Prices:
$45/night for 1-6 nights (tax included)
$40/night for 7+ nights (tax included)
● Dogs will need to be up-to-date on their vaccinations (same as daycare).

● Dogs will get to spend their day in our daycare area and enjoy one-on-one time at night with our overnight attendant.
● Owners' provide their dog's food and medications. Anything else (toys/bedding/comfort items) are optional.
● We have treats but you are welcome to bring your own. (Please let us know about any allergies your dog may have)

Puppies

*Notice to Owner's*
We understand that life happens, and you might not always make it to your appointment on time. If you are going to be running late or if you need to cancel an appointment, please give us a call to let us know.
Grooming Frequency We recommend bringing your dog is for a standard groom or a de-shed every 3-4 months. Most dogs can wait that long for a groom. However, if you have a dog that you wish to keep their coat long, then they need to be brought in before they matt. We recommend bringing them in every 6-8 weeks for a B/B/T so we can maintain their coat. It is also helpful if the owner also brushes and combs their dog out at home. Investing in a comb as well is beneficial because you can use the comb to make sure your dog has been brushed out properly. if you need brushing tips for your dog, our groomers' are here to lend a hand.
Late Fee There is no late fee if you show up late for your dogs' appointment. We will still accept late appointments; we will adjust the appointment time accordingly and may need to keep them later depending on how busy we are.
Kennels We do use kennels at our facility so if your dog does not do well being in a kennel or crate, please let us know at the time of making the appointment (please leave a note when making online appointments).
Aggressive/Difficult dogs We will do our best to help any dog that comes to our facility. Some dogs don't do well being groomed or tend to be anxious around people or other dogs. For these special cases we tend to book them at least busy times of the day. If you are concerned about your dog being aggressive or anxious please call or message us and we will find the best time to set up an appointment.
*We usually book dogs like this towards the end of our scheduled work day. Most of the dogs have gone home and there is less traffic coming into the building so it provides a more calm environment for the dog and the groomer.*
Online Booking When you go to book an appointment online you will notice that our increments look like they are all over the place. Some appointments say 30 minutes and then some say 6 hours! Needless to say we have gotten some questions about how long an appointment takes. This is how long we typically have grooming appointments for:
● Tiny-Medium - 3-4 hours
● Large-Extra Large - 4-5 hours
● Giant - 6+ hours
We don't want to overwhelm our groomers and at the same time we want to provide enough spaces for people to book online. So that is why we have the slots for the Large-Giant dogs with higher times so as to not have too many large dogs in one day and the slots for smaller dogs have lower times because they don't take as long and we are able to take in more throughout the day.
